Runners and walkers of all abilities gathered for the 8th annual Crazy Store Lighthouse 10km and 5km Night Run, an event that has become a beloved fixture in our community's sporting calendar.

As darkness fell, participants lined up at the starting line, ready to embark on their chosen distance through scenic routes illuminated by the glow of the iconic lighthouse. The atmosphere was electric, with a perfect blend of competitive spirit and lighthearted fun that has become this event's signature.

What sets this race apart isn't just the unique evening setting, but the infectious energy that The Crazy Store brings as the main sponsor. True to their brand, they transformed what could have been just another running event into a truly memorable experience. This year's highlight? The energetic duck mascots who waddled alongside participants, quacking encouragement and bringing smiles to even the most focused runners.

"Whether you're walking, jogging or running, you can choose your distance and go the distance all the way to the finish line," announced the race director before the starting horn.
