Payroll Administrator - Head Office, Cape Town

We require an ambitious, responsible and self-motivated individual to fill the following vacancy that exists at our Head Office in Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Payroll/HR associated qualification advantageous
  • Sage 300 payroll certification obtained through Sage
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 Reporting
  • 5 years’ experience in Payroll/HR environment
  • Minimum 3-5 years Sage 300 experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite with advance skills in Excel, Outlook and Word 
  • Communication and Customer Service
  • Time Management and Organization
  • Numerical Aptitude
  • Ability to work part of a team, whilst applying own initiative
  • Excellent admin skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must apply tact, discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical skills, with good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Reconciliation 
  • Payroll - full function
  • Payments- statutory, 3rd party & daily payments
  • Filing- create and maintain employee personal files
  • General- handle payroll related queries, generate reports for journals 
  • Knowledge of Sars Mid-Year and Year- End submissions advantageous
