Cash Control Clerk - Head Office, Cape Town

We need a self-motivated individual to fill the following vacancy that exists at our Head Office in Cape Town.

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Matric or preferably an accounting diploma
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in MS office
  • Excellent numeric and analytical skills
  • Accurate with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Team player with the ability to get along with others
  • The position will require a self-motivated individual, with high levels of commitment and a good work ethic
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • 2 years relevant experience is essential

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Daily reconciling of Credit Card sales to bank statement
  • Capturing daily credit card sales on excel spreadsheets
  • Investigating credit card discrepancies with relevant banking institutions
  • Liaising with stores for daily variances
  • Formatting daily statements received from banking institutions
  • Monthly credit card report
  • Communicating with Operations team and customer care call centre
